Parking at Evans Field
The SPBA Board of Directors reminds all managers, coaches and parents that vehicles may be parked only in designated parking areas. Parking lots must be used for all vehicles, except those with a legal PD (Person with Disability) placard. PD parking spaces are available between the Concession Stand and the batting cages. Remember, under Township rules and for the safety of all children, vehicles are not permitted in the Common Area between C field and the batting cages. Any coaches and parents involved in All-Star tournaments should help spread the word to visiting teams and their families. Everyone's cooperation in this matter will help keep the Evans Park complex safe for our players and their families.

Evans Field Complex
The Evans field Complex is mostly maintained by the Township of South Park for the use of its residents. However, all the baseball fields, buildings, and structures in the complex are the responsibility of the South Park Baseball Association in terms of maintenance including, but not limited to: dragging and leveling fields, maintaining and painting structures, spraying outfield grass for weeds, stocking and running the concession stand, replacing dugout roofs. We invest a good amount of time on a yearly basis to keep our facility as safe and welcoming as possible. We have an Annual SPBA Spring cleanup day every March before the start of the season to rake leaves, drag the fields (left untouched over the Winter), paint structures/dugouts, organize equipment, cleaning and stocking the concession stand, etc.
Check back here during the year as the dates for these events come available, the more help we can get on this day, the easier it is for everyone involved.
2012 SPBA Age Guide
Please note that the grandfather option is no longer applicable to any of the below divisions. Playing age is strictly determinied by the age of the player on 4/30/2012.
Beginning with the 2010 season, the Instructional division has replaced and combined the T-Ball and National divisions. Previous years consisted of 5 year olds at the T-Ball level and 6 year olds (including some 7 year olds) at the National level. The 5-6 and 7-8 age groups have been divided for the safety of the players and to provide these divisions more consistency with the remaining age groups.
