About the SPBA

The objective of South Park Baseball Association shall be to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideas of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens.  Baseball embodies the discipline of teamwork. It challenges players toward perfection of physical skills and brings into play the excitement of tactics and strategy. The very nature of baseball also teaches that while every player eventually strikes out or is on the losing team, there is always another chance for success in the next at-bat or game.

The SPBA maintains the fields and physical facilities, supports volunteer services and resources to provide a program for children. Through effective leadership and strong volunteer efforts, the SPBA is able to provide these benefits to children who participate in our organization.
